History

Burambi is the name of a washing station that is apart of the Akawa Project. This project is an initiave by coffee trader, Supremo, aimed at delivering economic and environmentally sustainable practices whilst raising awareness about local coffee farmers in Burundi. The Burambi washing station is one of five washing stations within this initiative. It hails at 1550 Meters Above Sea Level (MASL) and is involved with 1284 certified local farmers.
